Service overview

Amatok provides a product-discovery experience. It helps surface Products and links to external destination services; Amatok does not itself sell Products through this service.

If you use the API or application, you are entering into these terms regardless of whether you have an account.

Profiles and accounts

Every viewer receives a server-backed Profile identity. Creating or connecting an account is optional and separate.

Anonymous saves may remain on the viewer’s device until account attachment, when eligible saves automatically merge into the account.

You should protect the devices and account credentials used to access the service.

User content and comments

• You keep ownership of your own comments, while granting Amatok a limited right to host, display, and moderate them in the service context.
• Comment reads are public, and comment ownership remains internal Profile data without guaranteed public Profile exposure.
• You are responsible for the lawfulness, accuracy, and appropriateness of the content you post.
• Amatok may moderate, hide, or remove comments that violate policy, break law, or materially harm other users.

Acceptable use

• Do not abuse, probe, or interfere with service operations, including scraping beyond documented usage or attempting unauthorized access.
• Do not post unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or malicious content.
• Do not manipulate feeds with automated traffic or intentional abuse intended to forge engagement signals.
• Do not impersonate Amatok or misuse trademarks, marks, or design elements to mislead users.
• Do not extract or redistribute Product data or user-content in bulk outside applicable permissions and API terms.

Purchases, offers, and marketplace actions

Amatok does not process marketplace payments, hold customer funds, set final purchase prices, or fulfill orders.

All purchases are completed with destination merchants or providers through their own checkout flows.

Merchants control checkout and final transaction terms, while availability, payment, shipping, taxes, returns, and disputes are governed by destination provider terms and are not set by Amatok.

Affiliate links and labels

Some recommendations may include affiliate links where a provider relationship is active. Relationship labels are shown clearly near the relevant Product links.

A link label alone does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or official approval beyond Amatok's disclosure obligations.

Commission does not determine Product inclusion, order, or relevance.

Product information

Product cards and Product metadata are informational and may change quickly.

Amatok does not guarantee completeness, accuracy, or real-time status for every Product field, including price, stock, or seller availability.

You should verify critical details on destination provider pages before any purchase decision.

Intellectual property

Amatok’s name, design system, and original software/app content are protected by applicable law and remain our property.

Third-party marks, logos, and product names remain the property of their respective owners.

Warranties and liability

• The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
• To the extent permitted by law, Amatok is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from service use.
• We may change features, flows, and integrations as the service evolves, including temporary suspension for maintenance, security, or compliance reasons.
• Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot be legally excluded.
